Introduction
Welcome to From Dev to Ops. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and your participation in our community, meetups, workshops, and events (collectively, the “Community”), operated out of MCC-MRF Innovation Park, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. By accessing this website, joining our WhatsApp community, or attending any of our events, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or join the Community.
About the Community
From Dev to Ops is a community-driven platform for DevOps engineers, SREs, platform teams, cloud practitioners, and open-source enthusiasts to connect, learn, and grow together through meetups, technical talks, workshops, and collaborative sessions. Membership and event participation are open to individuals who meet any eligibility criteria mentioned for a specific event and are, unless stated otherwise, free of charge.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by a parent/guardian, to attend our in-person events. By registering for an event or joining our WhatsApp group, you confirm that the information you provide (such as your name, email, phone number, or company) is accurate and up to date.
Event Registration & Attendance
Registrations for meetups and workshops may be managed through this website, a registration form, or our WhatsApp community link. Seats at physical venues may be limited, and we reserve the right to close registration once capacity is reached. We may, at our discretion, change event dates, times, venues, speakers, or formats, and will try to communicate such changes as early as possible.
WhatsApp Community Guidelines
Our WhatsApp group is a space for community discussion, updates, and networking. By joining, you agree to:
- Keep conversations respectful, relevant to DevOps/SRE/cloud topics, and free of harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Not use the group for unsolicited promotions, spam, or recruitment without the organizers’ permission.
- Not share confidential, offensive, or unlawful content.
Organizers reserve the right to remove any member from the group who violates these guidelines, without prior notice.
Code of Conduct at Events
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, or technology choices. Organizers may remove any attendee who violates this code of conduct from an event or future events, at their discretion.
Photography, Video & Content Usage
Photographs, video, and audio recordings may be taken at our events for use on this website, our social media channels, and future promotional or recap content (such as event recap articles like our meetup summaries). By attending an event, you consent to being photographed or recorded and to that content being used by From Dev to Ops for community and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the organizers at the event.
Speakers who present at our events grant From Dev to Ops permission to publish their name, photo, job title, company, and talk title/description on this website and in event recap content.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website – including text, graphics, logos, and design – is the property of From Dev to Ops or its content contributors and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Third-Party Links & Services
This website may link to third-party services, including our WhatsApp community and venue/sponsor partner websites (such as our venue partner, M2P). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services you access through these links.
